free to respond at their convenience. E-mail
is one of the most popular examples of asynchronous communication.
Browser
– A program that can display texts, graphics, audio, and video
elements of the internet. Popular browsers include Microsoft
Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
Text/instant messaging
- Text chat that allows Internet users to type messages to one
another. This has rapidly grown in popularity over the years. Once
considered taboo in the workplace, it has now been recognized as an
important tool for communication.

lets users respond in real-time.
VoIP
– It’s technology that allows carrier grade voice communication to
occur over a broadband connection. VoIP also allows users to have
unlimited phone calls for a fixed monthly fee.
